Taveuni Dive

Taveuni Dive, Fiji

Dive the legendary Rainbow Reef where beautiful colored fish swim in and out of the hard and soft corals. We have 20+ sites only 10-15 minutes away by boat.

The Somosomo Strait (Fijian for ‘good water’) has strong tidal currents which provide a constant flow of nutrients, idyllic for soft coral growth and fish life. Taveuni is world renowned among divers for this reason.

We have 3 boats allowing us to cater to a variety of group sizes.

All of our dives include weights, belts, tank, fills, boat, guide, towels, and refreshments. We generally do a 2 tank morning dive, returning for lunch, but can do afternoon or night dives if desired – contact us if interested.More info here…

Fiji’s warm, clear waters and abundance of reef life make the islands a magnet for divers and snorkelers.

Visibility regularly exceeds 30m. In terms of visibility the drier months of April to November are more reliable, but in different seasons the diver will experience different things and diving is quite good year round. Many travelers take the opportunity to learn scuba diving while in Fiji.

Our special location close to world famous Beqa lagoon and the amazing variety of local reefs offer an exceptional diving experience.

Coral Coast diving offers unexplored diving as well as many dive sites of world renown such as sites in and around Beqa Lagoon. However, there is no such thing as the ‘best’ diving site, especially in Fiji.

Every dive site has something special or unique to see and dives range from safe and easy to wall dives in fast currents.More info here…

Welcome to The Great Fiji Shark Count !

Throughout the months of April and November every year, you have the opportunity to help celebrate and record Fiji’s amazing coral reef biodiversity, show you care about our world’s delicate coral reef systems, and have fun, by taking part in the FIJI-WIDE SHARK COUNT!

Easy to do, this is suitable for visitors and locals alike, whether you like to fish, snorkel, or SCUBA dive. We hope that tourists, school children, scientists and all people with an interest in the marine environment will take to the reefs with us to search for the Sharks of Fiji!

The Great Fiji Shark Count will be held across Fiji every April and November every year.

You can do a single count, or take part as many times as you like during that month, so that you cover different reefs. All data will be gratefully accepted!

So, see your resort, watersports operator or travel agent, get your Shark identification materials and dive into the beautiful blue waters of Fiji, to be a part of history!
